Completely agree about feminine story arc…..until I realized this I floundered with my own book. It was revelatory to finally see through Her eyes.

I understand your presumption about men and the world of everything, but I have to say as a former journalist and broadcaster in the 70's, that my experience with men was equal and inclusive, that I was understood, also that my father understood me as much for being a woman as an intellectual individual with deep emotions, and that my husband, the joy of my life, along with my son and grandson, have an abiding affection and respect for and a deep understanding of all the women in their lives. Our family has never been divided into 'men and women'. It's us - a compleat whole.

I would hope from my view that that's the way the world should be in time. Otherwise we're just rewriting history the wrong way. it has to be inclusivity in my mind.

As for the female and male arc, I feel I need to go back into my works and rewrite and republish... hmm.

Hi Prue, thanks for your response. The last thing I’m interested in is a battle of the sexes, and after reading Dr. Sidra Stone’s book, The Shadow King (and she was happily married to Dr Hal Stone) I became well aware of my own Inner Patriarch. And by the way, I highly recommend their work.

Like Einstein said, β€œWe can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Wars, climate change, opioid crises, etc. Our human species desperately needs an evolution of consciousness, and it begins with you and me.β™₯οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ•Š

Agree, agree, AGREE! There are many points within this circle you bring here. I love that quote, "When the Ego cries the soul rejoices." I had my own experience of this lately, that's my next post I am currently working on. How timely!

As I move more deeply into the deep feminine current, it becomes more and more apparent how patriarchal our world is. English language (and many others), HIStory, hierarchal structures, Hero's journey... And so fascinating what you shared about the writing structure being based on the male orgasm. Fascinating, and true.

And RBG - I miss her. That part of the movie is so significant! I feel that until men (and some women too) humble their ego's in order to listen to the feminine aspects of life, we will continue as we are. And it is happening...

As one of my most loyal, male, long-time readers - not to mention profoundly generous and kind - I was wondering how you may respond, Michael. And as usual, you’ve made me smile from ear to ear. Maybe your generation have more practice with trying to understand other perspectives πŸ˜β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ•Š
