Hello beloved reader,
I have a sense that the world is at a tipping point.
My heart resonates so deeply with “The War in the World Begins Within” from Lauren Walsh of Global Sisterhood, which you may read in this Note. (Please do click through to read the Note in its entirety.)
Today on this beautiful summer day here in Southern New Hampshire, I’m offering these blessings and intentions.
May we dream into being a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.1
May all human beings suffer less and love more.
May all human beings connect with love versus fear.
May we all experience deep, harmonious connections and relationships where anxiety or strife dissolves and melts away.
May more world leaders embody and act from the values of loving kindness and compassion.
May all human beings be aware of greed, hatred, and delusion and choose not to act from these shadow archetypes.
May we each stay in our power.
Especially women, and those of us who have been conditioned to distrust our inner knowing and to outsource authority to external, patriarchal figures and systems.
~
For me, this is a year of practicing staying in my power. And one of my all time favorite books reminds me that the right use of power is to alleviate my own suffering first, and then allow it to ripple outwards. In this gentle, radical book, The Art of Power, Thich Nhat Hanh reminds us that true power comes from presence, not dominance—and that the first step to healing the world is healing ourselves.
Let us begin again—here, now—with a single breath of awareness, a single act of love. The war within softens when we remember who we truly are.
The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible (Sacred Activism Book 2) by Charles Eisenstein
May war weapons wilt,
like flowers, spent after bloom.
Start with our heart melt.
Thank you for this Camilla. 💗🙏🕊️💗
