Camilla,

So glad to read that you’re feeling better! And I’m steeping in these words: “We write down our soul consciously or unconsciously, knowingly or unknowingly, hopefully with clarity and insight, but sometimes with our own biases that we may be blind to.”

So many thought-provoking ideas to take in Camilla - this is great. The idea of writing a memoir as a sort of spiritual unveiling is something I had never considered. I’m looking forward to reading part 2, now. :)

Love this quote! “That’s one of the surprising things about writing memoir, you have no idea what you’re going to uncover about yourself that you prefer very much not to know.”

p.s. Melissa - if you haven't read any of Abigail Thomas' memoirs, do not walk, but run towards them. "A Three Dog Life" and "Safekeeping" are two of my favorites!
