Chapter 33: Moving Back to Sydney, 1998

Good morning beloved reader,

Including the below, five chapters remain in Part Two of this memoir, leading to the completion of this narrative thread.

Chapter 33 below, tells the story of when Jamie and I moved back to Sydney in 1998, after living and working for seven years in New York City.

In present-day time, I want to offer kind of a disclaimer: while these years back in Sydney of 1998-1999 were perhaps two of the most challenging years in my life — in part due to my own self-delusion, and also partly due to the overly enmeshed relationship I had with my mother — these days I have a wonderful relationship with Mum with healthy boundaries, and she’s still as sharp as a tack at the age of 86.
