I was so busy that I missed reading this post and came back to find it today. I'm glad I did. I love the symbol and honor its meanings and the effect you mention. Thank you for sharing this.
That’s a great image of my own spiritual path. Lots of winding and extremes. Settling into a sense of holding the tensions in balance. What a gift to have a monastery and forest to meditate in.
I could feel your reverence seeping through it. Also, thank you for sharing it — I have never heard of, or seen, that symbol before, but, as you said, there is something very alluring about it. :)
Hi Simone, thanks for being here, and you can hear how different the birds here in the North East of the States are so different from Aussie birds. I love both, but I sooo miss the Aussie birds too♥️🙏🕊️
Hi Camilla, Yes, your birds sound more tweety, I guess our larrakin birds drown out the tweeties, though it surprises me how sharp and loud the fairy wren is — the alarm call, that is. 🙏 🪶 🌱
it's true! Currawongs do have a bit of a larrikin sound to them now that you mention it!😁
I'd never heard of a fairy wren, and just Googled them, "The striking blue and black plumage of the adult male superb fairy wren makes for colourful bird watching across south-eastern Australia." and watched a gorgeous video https://tinyurl.com/4vm7nvxx
I am very happy to read about so many young women picking up the mantle and carrying on the work of honoring the Divine Feminine. For quite some time the younger generation rested on the results of generations of women’s work to attain equality, ignoring the work of Carol Christ, Starhawk, and Margot Adler to name a few. It gives me hope!
Perhaps we are living in a time where all the work around the divine feminine is being synthesized - I think this is what inspired me to start this Substack 2.5 years ago - it felt like the Divine Feminine was rising, and it still feels that way.
I was just writing in Beth's FB group, responding to a comment from Sally Jupe, "I find it fascinating how this group of mostly women are feeling called to offer their original medicine in the world at this point in time, and it makes me think of what the Dalai Lama said at the 2009 Vancouver Peace Summit, that the world will be saved by Western women"♥️🙏🏼🕊
Oh Camilla! I think that’s the first time I’ve actually listened to the audio… How wonderful. I shared it with my husband. Let us all continue to spiral upward…🌀
Beautiful observations and I love the spiral imagery of our evolution. Thank you for the voice and birds. A lovely way to begin the day. 🙏🏼
You're welcome Elizabeth, and thanks so much for your response♥️🙏🕊️
Such a helpful reminder for me today!
happy to hear that Susan! thanks for taking the time to let me know♥️🙏🕊️

Yes we feel very lucky and often count our blessings. Thanks for reading and commenting Kim♥️🙏🏼🕊
May we honour the spiral!
Ohh how I enjoyed this piece Camilla.

Thanks Michael, I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it♥️🙏🏼🕊
P.s. perhaps the paradox here is that I also immensely enjoy being irreverent too😁
Hehehe yes, yes! Gotta have a bit of irreverence! Glad to hear it :)
Hi Camilla, l love this 🙏. Listening to the trees 💚

they're so cute and cheeky looking
They are divine — very cheeky, and bold 💙
I love how Australia has the larrikin, cheeky, and bold birds - perhaps a reflection of our national character🥰
i think so 🤣
I love the spiral in nature, Her hand guiding life.
Me too Martha. If you haven't read Julie Gabrielli's work, she wrote a beautiful post about the connection between the spiral path of the Heroine's journey and the spirals in nature https://juliegabrielli.substack.com/p/the-marvelous-potential-of-spirals

Thanks for your lovely response, Bridget! I've been missing your writing on Substack♥️🙏🕊️
Thank you for explaining the symbolism of this sign. I enjoyed listening and hearing the birds in the background adding their interpretation too 🩵
oh I love that notion of the birds adding their interpretation too. Thank you Simply Sian for stopping by and offering your response♥️🙏🕊️
