I am really resonating to creating a new myth or in my case, I guess, restoring an old one that became distorted in the Patriarchal times. So far, I only approached Ceridwen, the keeper of the Cauldron of Inspiration who somehow became demonized along with all the Divine Feminine aspect. And I wanted to mention that we are coming to a cross-quarter festival that marks the harvest of the grains...this food could be preserved and might sustain the people during the winter. It is a celebration of the Sun and its gifts to us and named after a sun god, in Ireland, Lugh. But the ancient beginning of the agricultural era 3,000+ years BC) was created by his stepmother, Tailtiu. It was she who cleared an area of the forest to create the field for planting. Yes, the Mother Goddess feeds the people. Thank you, too, for taking on this subject and I agree with those who compliment you on the beauty and honesty of your writing. All best wishes! ✨💜✨

I meant it as a new kind of “guide”, (agree a better word is needed), one that encourages us to listen, to inquire into the world and ourselves, along with the permission to be curious and discover what arises in our own unique ways. To find ways to reach across the table and meet each other with new eyes, ears and understanding. In some ways to find the inner “guide” within.

Congratulations Camilla. It’s no small feat to write a book and serialise it on Substack. And it’s not just any book — it’s a brilliant one. One that enlightened me to stories I didn’t know. One that offered me alternate perspectives and interpretations on where we find ourselves at this moment. And one that invited me to think deeply about my original medicine and how it fits into this larger story.
I was also thinking as I listened to this last chapter about how inviting your whole book has been. And so, I was rather pleased to find the book ended with two questions (invitations, if you will) to ponder. I know I, and many of your readers, will be seriously pondering these questions thanks to you.

I'm also thrilled to hear that the book introduced you to new stories while also inviting you to reflect on your own original medicine—that feels like one of the greatest gifts a writer could hope for.
I'm also so happy to hear the book felt like an invitation rather than a conclusion. My intention was to leave readers with questions to investigate and explore in their own lives, that could possibly spark an evolution of consciousness.

Yes as gorgeous as the writing process is , it’s the release of the book that opens the way to discussions , meetings and all manner of ripples we cannot predict and often don’t see ourselves but take on a life of their own. This is particularly true for Substack publications I think
I love that way of seeing it, Sally. Once the writing leaves our hands, it begins a life of its own through the conversations it sparks and the relationships it creates. That's one of the things I've come to appreciate most about Substack too—as a place where ideas can be held, challenged, deepened, and strengthened in community.
